Perfection

Very nice scent, you get the grapefruit and then as it dries down over an hour or so it becomes very spicy/woody. I ordered some sample EdTs and this was definitely the wife's favorite smell. It also is not overpowering and I feel confident that when I wear it I'm not smelled from a mile away.

This would be my second bottle now, of Arkadia. I have Terre de Hermes but, I prefer Arkadia. Rod did it better. Seems more Orange forward than the original, which I like. It makes it glow. Great scent strength. Lasts all day.

I've enjoyed wearing fragrances since I was in high school, mostly hoping to attract the girls. These days, I wear them for myself and for the one girl who is my wife. My collection includes accords from Aramis, Al Haramain, Czech & Speake, Geoffrey Beene, Guerlain, Korloff, Paris Bleu, Van Yulay, Versace, Vince Camuto, and, of course, Stirling. To date, I have seven Stirling EDTs and I'm very pleased with all of them, but Arkadia is probably my favorite. It's definitely my wife's top pick. Every time I wear it, she goes, "Oh, that's REALLY good!" Naturally, I wear it often. And I'll buy more when I run out.

I ordered a sample of this juice along with (3) other 50ml bottles of other choices: Sandpiper, Sharp-Dressed Man, and Haverford. I'll write reviews on those soon. Haverford might actually be my favorite, so I'll be ordering the 50ml bottle this week! I am getting addicted to Stirling EDTs! That's bad for me ($), but good for Stirling. Here's what I thought when I smelled Arcadia....Taylor of Old Bond Street Mr. Taylor. Let me tell you, this is a GOOD thing. Mr. Taylor is my favorite scent from TOBS. Arcadia is better though. It has a bit more punch. I am smelling my hand right now, and yes...this is definitely Mr. Taylor, but better! If you like masculine scents, choose this one!

The scent is incredible.

I ordered something else from Stirling and, as they do, the sent a long a sample of this in bar soap. I had it in the shower and my wife came out of the bathroom and asked what that "small, sliver of soap" was. I told her it was a sample from Stirling called "Arkadia."

"So," she replied slyly, "that's a ... "

Well, I can't really say what she said in open conversation, but let's just say I IMMEDIATELY ordered samples of the aftershave splash and EDT. And then I ordered a full bottle of the EDT.

A good friend of mine, whom I hadn't seen in a long time, dropped by the office the other day for a chat. We hugged and he said, "Gosh, you smell TERRIFIC; like a MAN should smell!" He asked what it was and I gave him the name and sent him the link.

All of this to say that ever since I started wearing this, I get more compliments on it than anything else I've worn. It seems I've find my "new" signature fragrance. Thanks for a GREAT scent that truly is elegant, classy, manly, and "amazingly provocative."
