Bar Size: 3.8oz

Highly praised shampoo bar with excellent scent and lathering performance. Customers said it "leaves your hair soft and thick like a high end shampoo" and is "very economical" lasting over a month. The fragrance is "manly and not overpowering." One customer noted lathering required more effort than expected with limited hair.

I get the hype

So I had read about the Baker Street scent and how it had an established following. Now I understand why. A few weeks ago I broke into the shampoo bar and the scent was just fabulous. It is just right, not too much but just enough. I think I'll have to try the shave soap and the EDT now.

BTW, I've read some reviews of Stirling's shampoo bars but not many which give feedback on how long they last. Everyone's hair is unique. Some have short hair, some long, some thick, some thin, etc. My hair is on the short side and fairly thick but not coarse. I can get more than a month of daily shampoos out of a bar. To be honest quite a bit more probably.

That makes this product very economical and way better for your hair in the long run. No obnoxious, unnecessary chemicals to deal with. Just good cleaning and a wonderful smell.

I lather on my head. I did notice that if I rub the face of the bar against my scalp the bar develops a divot in it. So now I rotate it around, rubbing the small edges of the bar along with the face and/or back. Hope that makes sense. It keeps the bar more "square"

I'm a convert, no more liquid shampoo for me.

Navy Sailor Approved!!

I’m active duty Navy and needed to find a bar soap to replace the liquid shampoo that would bust in my rack and spill everywhere and also conserve space for deployments. This was my first purchase with Stirling soap and I bought it because of how cheap it was under $5 is crazy, my wife shampoo bar is 1.8 oz and cost $11. I was blown away on how high quality the soap is and how good it smells and the wifey loves it. The fragrance is very manly and not overpowering and last all day compared to liquid soap. I will definitely be buying again and been recommending to my shipmates.

I Am DONE With Liquid Shampoos

I chose Baker St. to comment on but have tried most of these and they are all true to the fragrances as advertised. That is, if you like the soaps/after shaves in a particular fragrance you will like the shampoo bar. But mainly, it is the PERFORMANCE that has impressed me. They immediately burst into lather as soon as they touch your hair and yet still last longer than I thought they would. They leave your hair soft and thick like a high end shampoo and the cost is comparable. I see no reason to go back to department store liquids.

Excellent product

Bought this shampoo in order to test the hair care line.
I wouldn't say the scent of BS is really dominating, but overall it smells nice and shampoo does his job very well! Have already ordered the other scents of shampoo,

Not quite what I expected

The bath soap lathers so well in my water, I thought it would be a breeze to lather this up. It works well, but getting enough lather to wash my rather limited amount of hair is a chore.
