So far, all of the Stirling body butters I've tried have been great. The barber shop scent is no exception. I like how the body butters seem to go further than the lotions, which means it doesn't take a lot to cover where you apply it, especially if you primarily use it for your hands. Great for using after showering.

I use body butter mainly in the cold weather to soften dry skin on my feet. It also helps dryness on my thighs from wearing long boot socks. Love the scent.

I cannot fault the results of the product. It goes on smooth and moisturizing. It works well for keeping farmer-tanned skin from shedding flakes. It could be slightly thicker. Perhaps a touch less distilled water. The scent however, is no barbershop that I have ever been in. It's zucchini bread! A countertop full of cooling zucchini breads fresh from the oven. That is a scent I am very familiar with. That is exactly what Barbershop Body Butter smells like. I will purchase no more of this scent, and will look at all other reviews with skepticism in the future.

I work on a college campus in New England so I obviously wash my hands repeatedly and aggressively with the hard stuff throughout the day. Winters are especially brutal here, and my hands have cracked and split and been a bloody mess for years. That is until I tried Stirling Body Butters (I have both Barbershop and Bay Rum). My hands, arms, elbows, and knees love this stuff. It absorbs well with gentle massaging and doesn't leave behind a greasy residue. A few days of consistent use (mornings after a shower, and the end of the day after work) have transformed my skin from leather-like to supple.

The barbershop scent is playfully complex - I love the sweet, mildly spicy vanilla opening, but it's the musky drydown that's the real star. It's also a versatile scent that plays nicely with a range of aftershaves and EdTs.

After trying it for a few days and marveling how it restored my dry and cracked elbows and knees, I wondered if the body butter would work as a non-shaving day face moisturizer. So, I sent an email to Rod and within a day received a reply to my question that yes, indeed, it can be used as a face moisturizer. And so I immediately tried it, and let me tell you, ladies and gentlemen, it works brilliantly, especially if you massacred your skin the day before. It absorbs much slower than a typical balm, and in doing so gently moisturizes and repairs the traumatized face over a longer period of time.

I cannot evangelize about and recommend this product highly enough - the Barbershop scent in particular, though the Bay Rum is also very much worth owning - and encourage you to try it if you suffer, as I do, from dry and sensitive skin.

Smells super good moisturize is really well, but not overly greasy. Definitely gonna make this my lotion.

I highly recommend Stirling’s body butter. The formula moisturizes skin very effectively and the effect is long lasting. I have used lotions before this that initially provided the desired effect only to wane within 12 hours. Barbershop is my go to scent but I also purchased an unscented for days I choose to change up my aftershave or days I choose to take a break from scents but overall 5 stars!

Smells exactly like the Barbershop scent also feels good and spreds easy.

I’m not sure why this happened but my wife has claimed the body butter the second I opened the container. I like the smell but she really loves the scent and now uses the lotion and if she’s happy, I’m happy so 5 stars from me

This body butter is great. First, the barbershop smell is fantastic! It goes on easy, feels good on the skin and absorbs quickly without the after greasy feeling. Highly recommend!

If you just want a generic all-purpose body butter scent, this is the one! Very pleasant and easy on the senses and has a medium to low profile compared to the other scents. Anyone could put this anywhere! Been using this on my hands and feet and it's been fantastic keeping my skin smooth and healthy this winter.

I've had both Knees replaced and ever since my lower legs have been very dry, no mater what I used. Products worked for a while but not all day. I started using the body butter back in February this year and with in a week my lower legs, knees, and feet were not dry and flaky anymore. don't get me wrong here, I have to use this every day even though the skin feels hydrated. However, I don't have to use as much as I did in the beginning using this stuff. Now a little goes a long way, not so much when I first started. Next order I intend to try the heel balm for dry and cracked skin on my feet and keep using the body butter on my legs. Thanks to Mandy and Rod and all the people at Stirling. My go to for shaving and now personal products.
