Full disclosure...I did not care for the scent. Why 5 stars then you may ask? Well, because the description is 100% accurate, and I doubted it. This scent was not "fir" me, but if you like the idea of being assaulted by a forest, this is absolutely the equivalent of challenging Treebeard to a fight that you will lose. Maybe you're into that...I'm not here to judge.

The witch hazel aloe combo is helpful in soothing the skin after a shave.

Firstly, as a witch hazel, this is 5/5. Perfect product to put on my head after shaving it clean.

The conifer scent is 4/5 (I'm a sucker for foresty pine scents). I fell in love with Stirling Green bath soap and shave soap, and thought maybe I could pair it with Conifer Witch Hazel since Stirling Green isn't available as a Witch Hazel.

Those two scents are *very* different! Stirling Green is light and sweet while Conifer is intense and sharp. It wouldn't be my top choice but my criticism here isn't to say it's a bad scent, just not what I thought it would be.

This scent is accurate to its description. It smells like conifers! Personally, I like Ozark more and will probably keep looking for the perfect Stirling "woodsy" scent. But it is what it says it is! If you like a strong "tree" scent, it's for you!

Old piney smell. If you like Ben Franklin and Vetiver you will probably like coniferous, but it's not for me. My favorites remain the citrus scents. Current rankings are:

If I had a mustache I would soak it in this glorious juice so that I could smell it all day. I have all the other Coniferous shaving products but to me this particular one smells the best. It is milky white, not clear, which is normal (I've ordered it multiple times). I have an embarrassing number of Stirling products but if I was forced to give up all but 2, they would be this one and Scots Pine Sheep shave soap.

This Coniferous witch hazel is great! Love the scent and what an accompaniment to the shave soap and aftershave. I use it by itself as well. Really soothes the skin and refreshes after a shower. The scent lasts for a long time and smells fantastic. Coniferous shave soap, witch hazel and aftershave, what a trio.. Thanks folks, nice job.

The smell of pine one my face right now is just wonderful. This is great stuff after a particularly close shave where my face is a little irritated afterwards it calms it right down. My face feels and smells great.

I absolutely love this scent! Women always compliment me on how well it smells as well. I also really like to use this product as it's really helping my post shave healing process up fast. I can feel my face get real clean but also get a soothing and tight feel from it. Very good for even as a start the day post shower skin product. You just feel very clean and it's making my skin look smoother and younger. Love the pine scent with that small hint of cedarwood. Not real grassy smell or woodsy just a fresh green scent with a hint of wood to it. Perfect balance thank you!

Fantastic witch hazel with an amazing scent. It feels great on the face.

Ordered this as part of the 3 sample pack. Right out of the bottle and onto my face, it's a very pleasant piney smell that lingers for quite a bit. Once that initial fresh pine scent fades, it becomes a little more subdued and morphs into more of a woodsy scent that hangs out all day. This stuff is great after a shave or as a before-bed splash. I also love the format this sample comes in; the pop-top bottle makes it easy to control the flow.

I'd definitely grab the full-size of this one when the sample runs out and might just have to grab the aftershave splash as well.

Same as my review of the soap, except for the lathering, obviously. The smell on this is amazing, lasts quit a while, considering it's witch hazel.

What can I say, it does wonders for my skin. I can't describe the feeling and looks of my skin after using this for a couple of day's now. I'm not using it just after shaving but also before I go to sleep. The scent to me is a very pleasent and complex mix of frankincense and pine.
Don't ever stop producing this wonderfull product, I'll use it for the rest of my life.

Piney scent from the bottle. Once dry on the face the scent smooths out and other woodsy scents are detected. Quite nice. I need to get this scent in the aftershave splash.

I ordered this as a sample and almost wish I would have gotten the full size. The description is exactly what this product is. Walking through the forest is the best description. The soothing and regenerative efects of the with hazel and aloe would be good on its own, bit the scent just makes the experience.

I'd recommend pairing it with the Ozark Mountain balm for extra manliness!

I really enjoy using coniferous witch hazel/aloe after putting on a splash of Sharp Dressed Man aftershave. The two scents combine very nicely and I have a suspicion that coniferous as a scent would combine nicely with many other items.
