This is a awesome shaving soap and aftershave. Classic barbershop blue scent, a touch of menthol cooling, and the ease of whipping up a bowl of that great Stirling Soap Co. lather! You have to try this soap! You will not be disappointed in the scent!

Fantastic scent, lathers really easily and provides a super slick protective shave that leaves my skin feeling great. This has become part of my regular rotation.

This one is staying in rotation. Great scent, wife compliments it every time I use it. Real staying power, lasts all day. Menthol has been so nice during this heat wave. Did I mention my wife loves it?

I love Stirling's menthol soaps. They can pack in the cold and still make a great lather. Cool Blue is one of those.

If you are looking for a good menthol shave cream, this is pretty good. Fragrance is decent, menthol is good and it delivers a nice lather/shave.

Started with Sterling products when I started my wet shaving journey and I have never been disappointed in the quality or the scents of their products and this one is no exception. Lets hope this stays in their stable as a full time scent.

I bought several containers of this, and hated it at first. It has a sharp tang to the smell, and I found that offputting. But the more I used it, the more I got used to it. And I genuinely believe the more that tang mellowed out. A new container has a sharp smell to it, but my used ones are much better. I now love it. Simply put, this is legitimately my favourite soap. B&M uses potassium tallowate, not pure beef tallow. The saponification process of that small change (to not get chemistry nerdy) might account for the absence of that sharp smell on the start of a new container. Nevertheless, buy with confidence. And if you're like me and don't like it at first, keep using it. It gets better with age, like a fine wine.
