Backbone, splay, and super-soft gel tips all on a professional barber style handle make this brush the bargain of the year. Brushes of this quality would normally sell for upwards of $200.

Knot Diameter: 24mm

Knot Height: 50mm

Customers praised this badger shave brush as "soft and ready to go out of the box" with exceptional value. The brush lathers well and features a comfortable handle. However, some found the knot too dense, making it hard to create and release lather. One noted an initial odor that dissipated with washing. Overall, highly recommended for quality at an affordable price.

Incredibly soft!!!

This is my first badger brush. And I absolutely love the way it feels. And it fans out really well. There's little to no backbone but it lathers up like a monster compared to my bore and synthetic brush. I am in the process of washing it multiple times to remove the odor that I can only describe as God awful.. (seriously one of the worst things I've ever smelled.) the smell is dissipating pretty quickly. (I'm switching between Dawn dish soap and shampoo and conditioner washing it.) but seriously for extra $15 it is a massive step up from the synthetic. I'm so glad I got it.

Great brush and value

Badger hair brushes are not cheap, but Stirling somehow made an affordable badger brush that is soft and ready to go out of the box, with none of the "horrifying animal smell" that you hear about in a lot of other badger brush reviews. Well done, Stirling.

Not really happy

The knot is so dense and thick that it is very hard to make a lather and to get it to release the lather. I will have to change the knot to make it useable.

So far so good

This product replaced an old warn out brush I had purchased at another source. I've been using this brush for about 3 weeks and it is performing nicely. I like the handle size and brush weight and it fits in my Stirling razor and brush stand. It this brush last several years with daily use then I will be very pleased with it.

Not happy

I wanted a big bushy brush and that is what I got.
The problem is that it is so dense it doesn't lather well and it doesn't want to release the lather it makes.

Exceptional

This replaced a good boar hair brush and at first I was thinking I should have just kept what I had. But after using this, I noticed it was softer, thicker, and the handle felt heftier. It was like if you've ever walked on expensive carpet after walking on regular carpet your whole life...but for your face!

Nice!

I finally ordered this badger brush for myself. It is wonderful, and I would recommend it to anyone. Well made, and is probably worth twice the price.

Best boar brush for the price

Most boar brushed tend to be expensive. At least that's what I've found when I browse other shave products shops/sites. I really enjoy this brush. The shape of the handle allows me to get good, solid grip on it while I build a lather. Speaking of lather, I build lather quickly and easily with this brush. The boar hair stays firmly attached, but you might lose a few during your first few uses of the brush. However, I've had no issues since. The weight feels nice too. Additionally, it's easy to rinse out once you're finished.

Simply Amazing!!!

Great great brush, can't say enough good things about it. I was afraid the knot was going to be too small, but it's perfect. The gel tips are extremely soft, but the brush isn't floppy at all. Handle is beautiful and feels amazing in my hands.
As with everything Stirling makes, it's very high quality and still affordable.
Probably the best bang for your buck badger out there (this tends to be true of all Stirling's products).
After using this brush I have absolutely no desire to buy a more expensive one.

Fantastic Brush

This is one great badger brush for the money compared to others that are
on the market that are more expensive. The brush handle is perfect to hold as far
as size goes and the badger hairs are of good quality and is very soft. Brush retains
water very good and loads up with shaving very well. This brush does not have
the smell that a lot of badger brushes have. This is a fantastic brush . Sterling
Soap has another winner in their product line.

Excellent Brush

Very hefty brush with thick badger hair. Easy to load. Large handle is easier to hold and set down. I’m very pleased with it.
