I purchased this brush 6 years ago, and if I were to scrape the soap scum off of it, you would have no idea. I bought the synthetic brush as well, but have always found myself using the badger, so I gave the synthetic to a friend who is still using it to this day. While many places have raised their prices over the past 6 years, Stirling has not and so when the time comes (if ever) to buy a new brush, Stirling will be my first choice.

This brush has very soft bristles. It also holds a lot of lather. The price is really great. Other sites have badger brushes for a lot more money. This is what I would call a great value.

The brush whips up a rich lather and generously applies it right where I want it. I love its classic, timeless looks too. All my expectations have been exceeded, and pairing it with Stirling Arkadia shave soap hits a home run. Dare I say, the brush improves my life each time I use it. I honestly like it that much. I usually favor synthetic brushes. I have a few boar and other badger, but this brush has made me re-evaluate my brush rotation. It holds up very well and does a fabulous job in mixing and picking up the soap. Once again, Stirling has hit a homer with this gem

This is my first non synthetic brush and I couldn't be happier. The tips are very soft while maintaining a lot of backbone. Until now I had always thought soft meant no backbone but this brush has plenty of both. I am also impressed with the handle. I can't get over how comfortable it is. I own over thirty custom brushes and this is the brush I use daily. That says a great deal. And best of all.... you can purchase this brush for an insanely low cost. Give it a try, you won't regret it.
