I haven't used this container yet but when I do, it will be used for refill and sample soaps from Stirling Soaps. They look and feel like a quality product just like everything else I buy from Stirling Soap company.

Bought three satsuma samples since they were sold out of the regular size jar.

Good size, plastic feels thick and well made.

Bought 6 extra jars for all the samples I ordered. I like to face lather and these jars are the best for that and the stickers on the samples easily stick to the jar so you know what is what.

I am impressed by how sturdy and durable the jar feels. The color is also a plus.

I plan on using these for a mash. I have tons of samples from all over and I am going to mash them all together and put them in these jars. Got to make space somehow and all these samples are taking up a lot of space. These are perfect for that as well as refill pucks.

Very nice and works perfectly as both a lathering dish and storage container. Plenty of room for the sample pucks to move around, which really isn't an issue; which also provides plenty of room for the brush to move around and create suds.

Wow I wasn't expecting this to be a great fit for the sample pucks, but it is and now when I finish the sample I can just buy the 4oz pucks to refill them. Great way to save money so I can spend it on other scents that stirling soaps make. My collection starts here and my wife can't be anymore pleased by the way I smell after an awesome shave. These are well made and a great fit for Stirling samples and refills. They are just what I needed. I get the feeling they will hold up well to repeated use. I will be purchasing more.

These are just the right size for shaving soap pucks.

This jar is perfect for storing/using your Stirling samples. Just pop your sample in the jar, load your brush right in the jar and when you're done cap it up. I wish I would've bought a few more to I can more easily swap between samples as the samples themselves last a damn long time.

I bought these after getting a number of loose Stirling soap refills. The refill pucks fit in perfectly and these jars are so thick that they will last the long haul. They're also a very fair price. 5/5 stars.

I re-stick the Stirling scent label sticker that comes on the plastic wrap of refill pucks onto these containers when refilling it with a new scent. It sticks like new and looks great - like it is in a custom container. On green shave jars where I've purchased a Stirling label and have stuck it on the outside top, I stick the scent label for that puck on the inside of the lid to tell me what's inside. Just looks nice I think..especially when you've got a lot of 4oz Stirling jars around with soaps in em. Try it if you need flavor labels on your refill jars.

I've heard of the IKEA jars everyone is suggesting in shave forums. I've used various metal jars, wire and without windows on them. This jar is worth every penny. I must admit, spending so much on a jar wasn't something I was looking forward to. Then, I looked at other options and realized that this jar is actually inexpensive comparatively. The twist cap is great. It's plastic and so will not rust. I placed a sample puck inside, perfect fit. I even was able to affix the label from said puck and it sticks like I bought it that way. I'll be buying more of these as a nice add-on worth the cost.

These shave jars are what I have been looking for, they hold my Van der Hagen, and Williams mug soap and it the best fit for Stirling sample soap I feel bad putting any other soap in the jars .

Even if you're not buying it for soap, this works for plenty of things.

What does one do when one buys the 1 kg. size Cella Italian soap block on sale and then realizes that the head sized block translates to 35 ounces of shaving soap? The Cella block is only wrapped in plastic wrap and it will eventually dry out if not properly sealed. My solution was to partially fill a shaving lather bowl half way for daily use, and to put the rest of the block into five green Stirling air tight containers. Now I don't have to worry about it drying out. Problem solved!
