Make me feel like a million bucks. Treat yo self!

I add a little jojoba oil once I'm a quarter down to thin it some, because the castor is thicker viscosity, but it doesn't need it. I just like a thinner oil most days. Some days I like the castor feel better too.

As someone with a beard that still shaves, it's amazing to find a great quality oil that lasts all day and matches the shave soap and aftershave. This is an excellent tobacco scent that lasts but, is still subtle enough to wear for anything.

You'll smell like an expensive yankee candle, with all the pluses and minuses that comes with. It smells excellent in moderation but in my opinion it's not as manly as the product description claims, it's definitely super-sweet and unisex. In my opinion better as a pre-shave oil than a beard oil due to the scent strength.

I've tried 7 Stirling pre-shave/beard oils so far and I have to say this might be the first that's got too strong of a scent to use in a beard. As a pre-shave oil you'd only need a drop or two to lube up your face, but if you have a medium-length or longer beard you'll need at least 4-5 drops to get good coverage all the way down to the skin. With 4+ drops you'll smell like a nuclear bomb of vanilla. I have a 1oz sample bottle and I think I will have to cut it with some of the Unscented oil to tone it down. Thing is, at that point it would be easier to go Unscented only and grab the Haverford solid cologne that's easier to moderate.

When I put it on, the conversation with the wife goes like this: "You leaving, babe? Wait..come here..*takes deep smell of Haverford scented beard*..oh my!" That is usually accompanied by a low growl, facial expression change, then you're late for work. Outstanding, manly, classic barbershop scent. 10 out of 10!

This is my first try of any Stirling product. I bought Haverford shave soap, pre-shave oil, post shave balm and lotion in the same scent. I used every Haverford scented product I bought this morning. The best overall shave I have ever had in over a decade of wet shaving. And the price point for these products is hard to beat. My wife is also on team Stirling, and she started using her new soap and body butter today too. Keep doing what you do. Now we have to decide on a few more scents.
