This was a second purchase of the Margaritas in the Arctic pre-shave oil, as I was running low on my existing bottle.

The Margaritas in the Arctic pre-shave oil, while it is scented, seems to go well with the majority of Stirling's Shave Soap scents. Also, I like the fact that I can feel the mentholated pre-shave oil on my skin compared to the unscented pre-shave oil, so I know my skin is "covered." The one thing I learned a long time ago with Stirling's pre-shave oils is that you don't need a lot when you shave. The first time I used the pre-shave oils, I thought nothing was coming out, which was due to the flow restrictor-type coverings on the bottles. As a result, I kept "tapping" the bottle in the palm of my hands. I noticed after I was finished shaving, that I had a "sticky" feeling on my skin even after washing with facial cleanser. When using Stirling's pre-shave oils, you just need to do 1 or 2 "taps" of the bottle into your wet hands to have enough for your shave. This prevents the "sticky" post shave feeling. Also, this means that one bottle will last a long time.

I noticed on this second purchase of the Margaritas in the Arctic pre-shave oil (in addition to the Mentha Pre-shave oil I bought at the same time), Stirling had changed the type of caps they use on their pre-shave oils fron metal to a hard plastic type caps. I noticed with the Previous metal lids, over time, there appeared to be a discoloration of the inside metal, which seemed to slightly show in the pre-shave oil. While it didn't impact the shave, I like the new lids that Stirling uses on their pre-shave oils. Highly recommended!
