A complex leather fragrance praised for its desert-inspired scent profile and excellent value. Customers said it "nails the scent of the Sonoran desert" with notes of leather, sage, and smoke. Most loved the long-lasting projection. One shopper noted intense smokiness differs from the original inspiration. Well-regarded for quality and affordability.

Love it. I want all the oro valley products forever and ever amen.
I bought Oro valley after trying the fragrance sampler. I already posted a review on aftershave I think. The bottom line is this is a surprising fragrance for me. I guess that this is patterned after Tom Ford leather but for me this evokes so many of the smells in springtime in the southwestern deserts. This is a complex fragrance, very well made, and I don't think it'll appeal to those who prefer Gourmand scents. There's nothing sugary or sweet or vanilla here this is dry, and somehow carries the sense of saddle leather and sage and various plants that bloom in the desert spring. to my nose anyway. This is in my top five fragrances. If you don't smell the desert no worries doesn't matter just think Tom Ford and his genius and then Rod and his genius in duplicating it.
Spent a better part of my life out in the deserts of the Southwest and I was shocked when I smelled Oro valley aftershave as a sampler from dry down to dust. This is to me a green leather scent with a beautiful fragrance ark from brights to almost a powdery leathery-sagebrush (green) finish but with a mature resinous uplift as opposed to the bitter terpenes the actual plant has. I've never cared for leather scents but...this is really, really good.
Of all the EDT's I've tried, this is by far the best performing in terms of projection and longevity. But, I see a lot of reviews saying this is dead on to Tom Ford's ombre leather. It is not. Maybe the formulation changed, but oro valley has an intense smokiness that is not present in the real (ombre leather edp). The smokiness is so heavy, that my wife can't stand it, while she loves the real thing. I didn't hate the smoky note, but I just wanted buyers to be aware that if you don't like this, that doesn't mean you won't like the real thing.
I was in the market for new cologne. I went and tried on multiple brands. I did really like Tom Ford leather. I decided to hold off considering the price. I purchased this to try and use everyday. I must say it’s very similar to Tim fords cologne for 1/6th of the price. Can’t go wrong for an everyday scent that won’t break the budget.
A classic done right 100% recommend 👌
Love it! Very unique. Combo of smoke, leather, incense. Definitely a man’s scent!
Oro Valley is one of my favorite scents in your line. I love the woodsy amd earthy character. I count myself fortunate to get one of the last tubs of the shave soap. When I saw the EDP available I had to get it. Oro Valley EDP is a winner.
I read all the reviews for this, and the Tom Ford original. Leather, is what I mostly read. Maybe I have a different understanding of leather because this one surprised me. Nothing like any leather I know but, I admit, I probably only know the tanning chemicals in the production of leather, and maybe that's what I was expecting. Didn't care for this one. Three stars for the Stirling quality, though, which is present here. Great casting and projection. Lasted most of my day.
I don't usually feel the need to write reviews for stirling products. You can try any of them and they're going to be good. Of all the scents I've tried though, this one has to be on my top five and stirling needs to keep making it forever (I'm looking at you dunshire and hipster, two others in my top 5). I love the smell of leather but have never actually smelled a cologne that represents it well enough to bother. This, however, pretty much nails it. For me, it starts a bit sweet but dries down to a nice mellow leather that stays around all day. Very calming.
I have Tom Ford's Ombre Leather edp. It is one of my favorite frags. Oro Valley smells EXACTLY like Ombre Leather. The only difference is it doesn't last as long. But hey, for $20 you can afford to reapply it.
I received my Oro Valley yesterday. Within 10 minutes after applying. This became one of my new favorite Stirling scents. I have always wanted to sample Ombre Leather by Tom Ford. The price tag was just too high for me. This scent is simply outstanding. I absolutely love it, and I pray this is one of their permanent sents. I will 100% buy again.
I never really liked leather scents because the leather smell has been so overbearing. This scent is not like that at all. The leather and a sort of sweet musky smell are rounded out so well by some earthiness. It's a deep and warm scent without being overpowering or abrasive. This is truly one of the best EDTs I have ever smelled or owned. I hope it is offered again in the future, because I sure will miss my bottle once it's gone (and so will my girlfriend).
