Scent Description: Another amazing scent in the "Stirling Man" lineup. An intensely masculine blend of citrus top notes, sandalwood middle notes, and a dense base of musk, cedar, and ambergris.  This is certainly a scent that will stick with you and bring others in for a closer whiff.

Product Description: A dual purpose softener and conditioner. A blend of premium oils to help condition and nourish your beard when you want to keep it and make it look great, and also soften and prepare it and your face when the time comes to shave it off.

Ingredients: Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed) Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Cucurbita Pepo (Pumpkin) Seed Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Parfum (Fragrance), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E).

NOTE: Please shake before each use.  Certain ingredients in this product are solid at room temperature and can settle over time.  When shaken, the product performs as intended.  Use sparingly as a little goes a long way.

Bottle Size: 2oz

Customers praised this beard & pre-shave oil for its "fantastic" scent and non-greasy formula that "absorbs really well" and softens hair. Shoppers noted it prevents razor burn and leaves beards soft. However, one long-time customer expressed disappointment with new packaging that reduced size from 3oz to 2oz while increasing price per ounce by 60%.

I have been using Stirling’s Ramblin’ Man beard oil for about four years. I love the scent, and the oil is great for my skin. And, I have appreciated the value.
I wish you had left things alone. don’t love the new packaging.. With the new packaging I get an ounce less (the former bottle was 3oz), inclusion of a medicine dropper (I have no use for it), and despite the smaller size, the price increased by a dollar (a 60% price increase per ounce!).
Any chance you have some of the older stock still around?

Stirling Ramblin' Man Preshave/Beard Oil

This was the first I knew that Stirling Soaps also made a Preshave/Beard Oil. I have been using it as a beard oil. It is thick, but not greasy and that makes it less messy. It absorbs really well, and leaves my beard soft. The scent is fantastic, and lasts a long time. Very nice.

Great product, and great scent. Soakes in, and doesn’t feel greasy or (for an oil)…oily. Softens hair, and smells great!

Helps prevent razor burn shaving what little hair I have on my head and smells good.

The listed notes match Creed Himalaya note-for-note, so I'm going to assume that was the inspiration. Citrus, wood, and musk/ambergris matches the profile of a lot of "fresh," "blue" fragrances so it surprised me when I first tried this and it immediately made me think of Stirling's "Triumph" scent (aka Paco Rabanne Invictus) but _much_ more mature and toned down. It has a strong floral body that also reminds of Stirling's Sharp Dressed Man (aka Creed Green Irish Tweed) so in a way it kind of feels like a lighter, fresher, cooler GIT. This scent would be perfectly at home in the spring and fall, and possibly summer--though I'm always concerned with the amplification of musk notes in warm weather. Perfectly suitable for office or daily wear.

It's so fresh and clean but with a subtle depth. It's like expensive hotel hand soap. I'd love if my house smelled like this.
