Time are very useful for the samples

For some reason I thought it was threaded but it is not. Not a big deal, still does exactly what I want it to do.

I purchased the small to hold my unopened samples. Fits them great, and does exactly as expected. Only thing, I'd say the small is probably closer to 3.5oz. Each of my samples weighed in at ~1.1oz and each one takes up about a third of the tin's height, with a little bit of wiggle room in the diameter.

I bought 4. 'Medium' is the best size for a bar of soap. I bought bars of a premium shave soap. I just cut them into chunks, and smashed them into these tins. Good quality materials, I expect these tins will last a long time.

I bought a few of these so I can try out more of my samples and I have to say that these are perfect for that. Also, they are less expensive than most, of not all, small shave bowl options on any other site. Now I have to decide what sample puck to try next, lol. Vanilla Sandalwood is amazing and I have no doubt the other four I have will be just as good!

I have a small tin version. The size is perfect for the sampler pucks.

Sadly the tin started to rust after 2-4 months. Inside of the tin is also some thin layer that started to peel. First I thought it was soap, but it was definitely some layer from the tin. Inside the rust got worse after that layer started to peel.

I keep the tin dry, let the inside dry for a day or two before I put the lid back on. The bottom had some light scratches from normal occasional that started to rust from the outside after 4-6 months. That part is definitely kept dry but stored in a typical bathroom humidity.

I really wish to find a rust free aluminium version and would even pay a premium for it. With this quality I will only keep one in hand and replace it as necessary.

I have a small tin. The lid slides on perfectly. I like that the lid isn't threaded. It just slides off, but is secure enough to be thrown around in a bag or something.

The small would fit a refill puck with no extra space to lather, and fits a sample with plenty of extra space. I don't load my brush from the puck, I scrape some into a bowl, so I would probably stick to the small size in the future.
