Potent!

I felt that it was necessary to include this review after a recent conversation with a client. I work in finance, so I sent a lot of letters in a given week. After a phone call with a client, she asked what kind of cologne I used. I was flummoxed at first until I remembered my Stirling Gentleman beard balm. Even after applying it to my beard thoroughly and washing my hands, there must have been enough left on my fingers that the letter she received 5 days after I used this balm was strong enough for her to smell it and good enough that she wanted to know what it was. So, needless to say, 5 stars!

a superb balm

I've been using, and enjoying, my Stirling products for years. I have a good assortment of Stirling shave soaps, samples, aftershaves, brushes, alum blocks, and bath soaps. When Rod and Mandy released their beard balm I had to take a dive. Now, let me say before I give my review, I have a goatee, not a Robertson family "duck dynasty" beard. I don't need mounds of lotion, creams or balms. Having said that, I've been buying whatever I find in my local retail shops (Cremo beard balms, Cremo beard and scruff cream, and Every Man Jack beard butter). One of my absolute favorite scents of all time is Stirling Gentleman. So thankful Rod and Mandy released this amazing scent in a balm. The balm smells exactly as the soap - which is a great thing. Just a little bit in my goatee, and I have a pleasant scent, a firm hold (better than the others I mentioned), and a nice shine.. The hold and scent lingers for many, many hours. I couldn't be happier. I plan to purchase some of their other scents, too. Grab you a balm or two from Rod and Mandy. You will not be disappointed.

Successful Experiment

Not having a beard I felt a bit left out when Stirling debuted their new beard balms. I decided to buy a jar anyway and try it on my hair. I keep my hair short, about 3/4" on top and thought it might help add a little control. I'm happy I tried it. The balm adds some shine to my hair and helps it from becoming too dry. It won't work as a molding product, but it keeps hair manageable and adds luster. Oh, and it has the awesome Stirling Gentleman scent!
